Guitariste et chanteur, Gerry Joe Weise est né en Australie. Ses premiers engagements furent à Sydney dans les années 70, réalisant ses première parties de AC/DC, Angels City, Rose Tattoo ou Midnight Oil. Très vite il devient le guitariste attitré d'artistes de passage dans les clubs, pendant 5 ans en Allemagne ou il séjourne dans les années 80. Au cours des années 90 il devient leader de sa propre formation, il suit une carrière personnelle ponctuée de plusieurs albums de hautes factures: 1994/95 "Live In Paris", 1996 "A Letter To Jimi", 2005 "Sydney-Paris Blues".

Throughout his many European tours, Australian born guitarist Gerry Joe Weise, has jammed with B.B.King, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Noel Redding and Eric Clapton. His groups have had musicians from Mick Taylor, Roy Buchanan, Savoy Brown, Manfred Mann, Alexis Korner, Tower Of Power, Ravi Shankar, Big Ed Sullivan and Otis Grand. He has supported Ray Charles, B.B.King, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Pat Metheny, Noel Redding, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, John McLaughlin, Eric Clapton, The Scorpions, Luther 'Houserocker' Johnson, The Yardbirds, Joe Louis Walker, Matt 'Guitar' Murphy, Canned Heat, Nine Below Zero, Otis Grand, Bob Brozman, Dave Hole, Van Wilks, the Chicago Blues Festival Tour & San Francisco Blues Festival Tour in Europe. In 2000/01 he wrote two songs for aboriginal Nabarlek band's 2nd album "Bininj Manborlh" (Indigenous Live Band Of The Year Award 2005).
